I’m Mike Abate. I am a dedicated, driven, and detail oriented Senior Art Director who won’t stop until I know that the job is the best that it can be. I look to always learn new ways to grow and expand my skills, from my own experience as well as the perspectives and talents of those around me to continually push my work forward.

THE WHAT

I am a seasoned, driven, and hard charging Senior Art Director striving to create strategically-sound and high-level creative—fueled by bold ideas, curiosity and good time along the way. I have had the pleasure of working with clients such as:

ONE. Impact. Design has influence—plain and simple. Whether it’s a brand, product, or story, strong design shapes how it’s perceived and remembered. I’m driven by the opportunity to make work that stands out, connects, and elevates the experience, one piece at a time.

TWO. Satisfaction. There’s nothing better than taking an idea from rough concept to final execution and seeing it live in the real world. After all of the dust settles and the work is done, revisions are made, and problems have been solved, that moment when the work clicks into place is what makes it all worth it.

THREE. Fun. At the end of the day, if it’s not fun, it’s not sustainable. The best work comes from energy, passion, and a genuine love for the process. Isn’t that why we all do it?

THE WHEN

I graduated from Sacred Heart University in 2014 with my BA in Art and Design with a secondary emphasis in Illustration.

THE HOW

Relentless work ethic and a positive mindset have always defined how I approach both life and creative work. I’m constantly pushing myself to go further, dig deeper, and raise the bar on everything I take on. Raised on the belief that hard work is what separates good from great, I don’t back off when things get difficult—I lean in. When I set a goal, I stay locked in until it’s achieved.
